CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will embark on an official visit to Spain from July 16 to 19, as part of a strategic initiative to boost industrial growth, employment, and international investment in Madhya Pradesh. The visit includes high-level engagements in Madrid, where the CM will lead efforts to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in tourism, sports infrastructure, and film production.

Dr. Yadav will travel from Dubai to Madrid late on July 15 and is set to participate in several official meetings and promotional events during his four-day visit.
Madrid Business Forum: A Gateway to Investment Opportunities
On July 16, the Chief Minister will serve as the chief guest at the “Invest in Madhya Pradesh” Business Forum in Madrid. He will showcase the state’s industrial ecosystem, progressive policies, and vast potential in sectors such as tourism, IT, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Key Highlights of the Day:
- Courtesy Call with Indian Ambassador: Dr. Yadav will meet Mr. Dinesh K. Patnaik, India’s Ambassador to Spain, to discuss avenues for strengthening India-Spain ties and bilateral investments.

Focus on Sports Infrastructure and Film Production
Dr. Yadav will also attend a presentation by Populous, a globally renowned sports infrastructure design company. The session, led by Mr. Jorge Bettencourt, will explore the design and development of state-of-the-art sports facilities in Madhya Pradesh.
Later in the day, Dr. Yadav will hold a meeting with the President of the Spain Film Commission to promote international film shoots and co-productions in MP. The goal is to project the state as an attractive destination for global filmmakers.
Cultural Engagement and Diaspora Outreach
To strengthen cultural ties, the Chief Minister will visit the Prado Museum, one of Spain’s most iconic art institutions. In the evening, he will attend a reception and dinner with representatives of the Indian business community in Spain, deepening engagement with the diaspora and fostering interest in the state’s investment landscape.
Positioning Madhya Pradesh as a Global Investment Hub
The visit is seen as a major step toward projecting Madhya Pradesh as a globally competitive destination for investments in emerging sectors.
