Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of the state’s Foundation Day, describing it as a land of glorious heritage, rich culture and stunning natural beauty. He also highlighted the state’s contributions to agriculture, industry, tourism, education, infrastructure and innovation.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister said that Madhya Pradesh’s world-renowned heritage sites further strengthen its historical identity. He praised the talent and enterprise of the state’s people, noting their significant role in its progress across various sectors.
“Heartfelt greetings to all brothers and sisters of Madhya Pradesh on the State Foundation Day! Our state is a land of glorious heritage, rich culture, and stunning natural beauty. The world-renowned heritage sites here further enhance its historical identity,” PM Modi said.
He further noted that Madhya Pradesh was achieving new milestones in agriculture, industry, tourism, education, infrastructure and innovation. The Prime Minister also highlighted the state’s contribution to building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat through its all-round development.
Wishing the people happiness, peace and prosperity, PM Modi expressed hope that the occasion would bring positivity and progress to the state.
CM Mohan Yadav Highlights Heritage and Development of Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also extended greetings to the people on the state’s Foundation Day. In his message on X, he highlighted the state’s development journey and growing economic activities.
Describing the combination of heritage and development as the state’s emerging identity, CM Yadav said, “The pride of heritage and the new flight of development are now the new identity of Madhya Pradesh.”
The Chief Minister highlighted several areas contributing to the state’s economic growth, including:
- Rapid industrial development and investment promotion.
- Growth in the agricultural sector.
- Expansion of tourism facilities.
- Strengthening of economic activities across the state.
He said these developments had provided fresh energy and strength to Madhya Pradesh’s economy.
CM Yadav also called upon people to work collectively towards the state’s progress. He emphasised that the benefits of development should reach the last person in society and that every section should receive equal opportunities to grow.
He expressed hope that future generations would take pride in a prosperous, secure and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.
