Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh will celebrate its Foundation Day on November 1 with a series of special events across the state, including the capital Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday that the celebrations will highlight the state’s achievements over the past two years through a large-scale development exhibition and cultural performances.
The Lal Parade Ground and Ravindra Bhavan Complex in Bhopal will serve as the main venues for the events, while parallel programs will also take place in all districts.
Development Exhibition to Highlight Investment and Governance Achievements
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that the development exhibition at Ravindra Bhavan will showcase major achievements from the last two years, including progress in investment promotion, digital governance, and infrastructure development.
Information on the outcomes of investments made during the Global Investors Summit will also be displayed. In addition, several digital platforms will be launched — including Madhya Pradesh e-Seva and Invest MP 3.0 — to further boost transparency and ease of doing business.
The government will also present the Vision Document – “Prosperous Madhya Pradesh @ 2047”, outlining the long-term roadmap for a happy, prosperous, and culturally rich Madhya Pradesh. The upcoming year’s theme for 2026 will be officially announced during the event.

Cultural Performances and Musical Tribute
As part of the celebrations, a musical performance of the epic “Samrat Vikramaditya” will be held at Lal Parade Ground. The presentation will feature renowned playback singer Jubin Nautiyal, bringing together the state’s cultural heritage and artistic excellence.
Promoting Organ Donation: State to Honor Donors with Guard of Honor
Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s growing commitment to organ and body donation, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the selfless act of organ donors, including Bhopal’s auto driver Ganesh, whose organs saved multiple lives.
To honor such contributions, the state government has introduced a guard of honor at the funerals of organ donors. Dr. Yadav also mentioned the initiatives taken by families such as Kishan Singh Bhatia’s of Ujjain, who pledged body donation, calling their actions “an inspiration for society.”
The Chief Minister urged ministers to encourage organ and body donation campaigns in their respective districts, saying such acts keep a person’s memory alive and continue to serve humanity even after death.
Tribal Pride Day to Be Celebrated on Birsa Munda’s 150th Birth Anniversary
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that the state will celebrate Tribal Pride Day with grandeur on November 15, marking 150 years since the birth of Lord Birsa Munda, the revered tribal freedom fighter known as Dharti Aba.
A series of programs from November 1 to 15 will be organized in educational institutions and panchayats across Madhya Pradesh to highlight Birsa Munda’s contribution to India’s freedom movement and his role in uplifting tribal communities.
Focus on Mission ‘Gyan’
Emphasizing the government’s future priorities, Chief Minister Yadav said the “Mission Gyan” initiative will focus on the holistic development of the state, particularly targeting the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers, and women.
