Hyderabad: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the headquarters of leading green energy company Greenko in Hyderabad on Saturday, showcasing the state’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainable growth. During the visit, Dr. Yadav reviewed the company’s cutting-edge technologies, energy conservation systems, and renewable energy projects.
Green Energy: A Pillar of National Growth
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Yadav emphasized that green energy is no longer just an alternative—it has become a cornerstone of India’s development. He lauded Greenko’s technological expertise and innovative production models, highlighting the company’s significant contribution to accelerating the green energy revolution in India.

Madhya Pradesh: Emerging Hub for Renewable Energy
In discussions with Greenko officials, the Chief Minister noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s renewable energy sector has achieved historic milestones. Madhya Pradesh, he said, is quickly emerging as a front-runner among Indian states in the green energy domain.
Dr. Yadav pointed out that the state offers immense opportunities for investment across the entire green energy value chain, from production and storage to innovative project development. “Every investor and company looking to enter Madhya Pradesh will be welcomed wholeheartedly,” he said.
Boosting Investment, Industry, and Employment
The Chief Minister’s visit is expected to strengthen the green energy industry in Madhya Pradesh, attracting new projects, expanding existing industries, and creating employment opportunities. Greenko has expressed interest in establishing several large-scale initiatives in the state, including:
- 100 GWh energy storage projects
- Green hydrogen clusters
- Bio-refinery plants
- 2G ethanol and methanol production units
- Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) projects
Greenko Group CEO and Managing Director Anil Chainmala Shetty briefed the Chief Minister on the company’s ongoing projects nationwide and outlined future plans, reaffirming Greenko’s intent to accelerate investments in Madhya Pradesh.

The visit was attended by senior state officials, including Principal Secretary (Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion) Raghvendra Kumar Singh, MD, MPIDC, Chief Minister’s Additional Secretary Chandramouli Shukla, along with senior Greenko executives.
