Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav distributed appointment letters to 1,060 newly selected employees of various power companies in Madhya Pradesh at a grand state-level ceremony held at Ravindra Bhavan in the capital city on Tuesday. The event was also graced by Energy Minister Pradyumn Singh Tomar.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the CM being welcomed with a gift of a medicinal plant. In his address, Dr. Yadav called the day a proud moment for Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing that the recruitment of these employees is not only a step towards empowering youth but also a significant stride in strengthening the state’s energy sector.

“New Energy and Momentum for Power Companies”

The Chief Minister encouraged the newly appointed personnel to work with dedication and a sense of responsibility toward public service and the development of the state. He noted that the fresh appointments would infuse new energy and momentum into the operations of power companies.

Massive Recruitment Drive Ahead

CM Yadav announced that over 51,000 new posts will soon be filled in the electricity department, underlining the government’s continued commitment to employment generation and sectoral growth. He added that these appointments would provide new direction and purpose to the state’s youth.

Exhibition and Dialogue

The event also featured an exhibition showcasing the achievements of Madhya Pradesh’s power companies, highlighting their contributions to the state’s development. The Chief Minister inaugurated and toured the exhibition, commending the work of the employees and officials involved.

Additionally, Dr. Yadav met with representatives of power sector employee unions, listened to their issues and suggestions, and assured them of the government’s support.

A Vision for a Stronger Energy Sector

During his speech, the Chief Minister reiterated that the state government is consistently working to strengthen the energy sector, and these new appointments are a crucial part of that mission. He expressed heartfelt congratulations to all selected candidates and said he personally coordinated with BJP National President J.P. Nadda to ensure the event was organized on such a grand scale.
