Bhopal: Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is steadily emerging as a key player in the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sector. In a major development, Kens Electronics Manufacturing Private Limited (KEMPL), a subsidiary of Kens Technology India Limited (KTIL), is establishing a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing unit at the Badwai IT Park in Bhopal.

Investment & Employment:

The facility will be spread over approximately 5 acres with an investment of Rs 352 crore and is expected to create employment for more than 1000 skilled youth. Production is anticipated to begin in 2026.

The unit’s establishment aligns with the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy-2025, part of the state’s broader industrial promotion strategy aimed at attracting both domestic and global investors in the electronics sector. The policy, coupled with robust infrastructure and skilled human resources, is making Madhya Pradesh an attractive investment destination.

Industry Endorsement:

Additional Chief Secretary of the Science and Technology Department, Sanjay Dubey, affirmed that the setting up of Kens Technology’s unit validates the state’s effective industry policies. Raghu Panikkar, CEO of Kens Technology India Limited, expressed enthusiasm, highlighting the state’s proactive support and the strategic importance of the new unit in bolstering India’s global manufacturing capabilities.

Company Profile:

Kens Technology India Limited operates eight advanced manufacturing units nationwide, producing high-quality electronic products for sectors including automobile, aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, IoT, and space. The Bhopal facility will incorporate Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines for manufacturing precision electronic assemblies.
