Bhopal/Dubai: On the second day of his official visit to Dubai, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav embarked on a high-powered series of meetings aimed at attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) into Madhya Pradesh. The day was packed with strategic engagements across sectors such as green energy, startups, technology, air logistics, and textiles, showcasing the state’s growing footprint as a global investment destination.

Strengthening Global Partnerships: Diplomacy Meets Development

The day’s proceedings began with a courtesy call on the Indian Consul General in Dubai, where discussions focused on India’s economic interests in the UAE, as well as opportunities for bilateral cooperation in trade and industry. The meeting underlined the importance of Indian state-level initiatives complementing the broader India-UAE diplomatic and commercial ties.

Startups, AI & Innovation in Focus

CM Dr. Yadav met with P.K. Gulati, Chairman of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), to discuss collaboration opportunities in the startup ecosystem. The state government, with its pro-innovation policies and incubation schemes, is seeking global expertise and funding to strengthen entrepreneurship in Madhya Pradesh.

In further meetings with tech giants like Eesa AI and G42 India, discussions revolved around AI, digital transformation, and tech-led governance, with the state keen to introduce next-gen technologies in sectors like healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

Green Energy: Talks with Leading Global Players

Madhya Pradesh’s focus on sustainability and clean energy was reflected in meetings with key green energy firms including Gru Energy and members of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO). The discussions touched upon investment in solar, wind, and battery storage projects, with CM Yadav presenting Madhya Pradesh as an ideal hub for green industrial expansion.

Boost to Textile Sector: PM MITRA Park & Export Agenda

CM Yadav also visited the Texmus Association Campus in Dubai Textile City, observing textile production units and export mechanisms. During an interactive session and networking lunch, the state’s capabilities in textile manufacturing, skilled workforce, and its selection as a PM MITRA Park location were showcased to global textile investors.

“Madhya Pradesh offers a unique blend of infrastructure, workforce, and policy support—ideal for textile exporters and manufacturers,” said Dr. Yadav.

Key Meetings with Global Business Giants

Throughout the day, CM Dr. Yadav held one-on-one meetings with global business houses, including-

  • Lulu Group International
  • Saraf DG
  • Eesa AI Al Gurair Group
  • Gulf Islamic Investments
  • G42 India
  • Tata Sons Middle East

These discussions spanned across retail, logistics, AI, real estate, and heavy industries, with a strong push for investment in Madhya Pradesh’s emerging economic zones.

Connecting Maharashtra Business Networks in Gulf

CM Yadav also met with representatives of the Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum and MIDC, aiming to develop cross-regional synergies between Gulf-based entrepreneurs of Indian origin and industrial zones in Madhya Pradesh.

UAE Trade Ministry Meeting: Strengthening Bilateral Trade

A key diplomatic highlight was CM Yadav’s meeting with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade Affairs. This pivotal discussion aimed at boosting bilateral trade and positioning Madhya Pradesh as a preferred Indian partner for Emirati investors.

Concluding with Invest Madhya Pradesh Business Forum

The day concluded with the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Dubai Business Forum’ and a grand networking dinner, where Dr. Yadav addressed investors and stakeholders from various sectors. A special roundtable on tourism investment, chaired by the Principal Secretary, Tourism, was also organized to highlight the state’s plans to scale up eco, heritage, and adventure tourism infrastructure.

“Madhya Pradesh is not just an emerging state in India – it is ready to become a global partner. We invite the world to grow with us,” said Dr. Yadav in his closing remarks.
