Bhopal: In a major administrative development, Madhya Pradesh is set to appoint 16 new IAS officers in the next two months. These officers will be promoted from the State Administrative Service (SAS), as the General Administration Department has resumed the process of awarding the IAS title, which had been delayed for several years due to controversies.

However, the process for both the 2023 and 2024 IAS awards will now be completed simultaneously.
