Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 Set to Boost Global Tourism with Participation from 27 Countries in Bhopal

India’s largest state-level travel mart kicks off in Bhopal with over 80 international tour operators, 3,000+ B2B meetings, and a mission to position MP as a global tourism hub

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is ready to make its mark on the global tourism map with the much-anticipated Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025, scheduled to be held from October 11 to 13 at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal. Recognized as India’s largest state-level travel mart, the event will witness participation from over 80 international travel experts and tour operators from 27 countries, along with hundreds of domestic tourism professionals and representatives from the film industry.

The initiative is being organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in collaboration with FICCI, with the goal of promoting the state as a “Global Icon in Tourism”, and attracting investment and partnerships in tourism, film, wedding, and adventure travel.

International Experts Praise MP’s Tourism Potential

International delegates have expressed great enthusiasm ahead of the event.

  • Johari Somad, Chairman of the Alliance of Indonesia Tour and Travel Agency, stated:
    “I’m thrilled to be part of MP Travel Mart 2025. The beauty of Madhya Pradesh deserves to be showcased globally.
  • Rajesh Pillai, Managing Director of Feefalt Indian GmbH, Germany, called it a golden opportunity to witness MP’s natural and cultural richness.
  • Gui Yaje from Trocadero Swing Communication, France, emphasized that this event is an ideal platform to present MP’s scenic charm to the world.
  • Kamil Kurk, a travel expert from Poland, said he is eager to promote MP’s destinations in his country.

Returning to the ‘Tiger State’ After 27 Years

Cornelis Johans from the Netherlands, who first visited Madhya Pradesh 27 years ago as a tourist to see tigers, now returns as a tour operator.

“Madhya Pradesh is beautiful, and I will do my best to showcase it globally,” he shared.

Balbir Singh of Anglo Indiago Travels, Spain, added:

“MP has limitless tourism potential. This event will be spectacular.

3000+ B2B Meetings and Global Networking

MPTM 2025 will feature:

  • Over 3000 B2B meetings
  • International conferences and roundtable sessions
  • Focused discussions on film tourism and investment
    These efforts are expected to boost not only international tourist arrivals but also generate thousands of employment opportunities for local communities.

Vinod Pillai of Oscar Travels, Ireland, praised the architectural beauty of Khajuraho temples and stated that the event will firmly establish Madhya Pradesh on the global tourism platform.

Towards a Global Tourism Hub

The event is a significant move to transform Madhya Pradesh into a recognized global hub for:

  • Destination weddings
  • Adventure and eco-tourism
  • Film tourism

MPTM 2025 is expected to open doors for new partnerships, tourism investments, and the empowerment of local communities, aligning with the vision of making Madhya Pradesh a world-class tourist destination.
