The government of Maharashtra has recently mandated an IAS reshuffle in its administration. IAS Rajesh Narvekar (2009 batch), previously posted as the Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner, has become the Director of Information Technology in Mumbai.
IAS Vinay Moon (2011 batch) has been designated as the Director of Sericulture in Nagpur whereby he will oversee the state’s sericulture programs, focusing on enhancing silk production and supporting local sericulturists.
IAS Yogesh Kumbhejkar (2016 batch) has been mandated to take charge as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola. Officer Kumbhejkar will now be responsible for the management and distribution of seeds, which is essential for the state’s agricultural development.
