In a noteworthy administrative reshuffle in Maharashtra, Chhering Dorje, an IPS officer of the 2000 batch and the Special Inspector General (IG) of Nagpur Division, and Aswathi Dorje, also an IPS officer of the 2000 batch and the Joint Commissioner of Police, have been reassigned to Mumbai.
Meanwhile, D.K. Patil-Bhujbal, a promoted IPS officer, has been appointed as the new Special IG of Nagpur Division, succeeding Chhering Dorje.
