On June 26th, the government of Haryana mandated the transfer of as many as 23 IPS and 27 Haryana Police Service (HPS) officials.
Mr. Satender Kumar Gupta (2004 batch), the incumbent Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Karnal Range, was transferred and posted as Sonipat Police Commissioner, replacing Mr. B Satheesh Balan (2004 batch), who instead was posted as the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Jhajjar.
Mr. Jashandeep Singh Randhawa (2012 batch), the incumbent Superintendent of Police (SP) of Ambala, IPS Surinder Singh Bhoria, presently posted as the SP of Kurukshetra, were mandated to exchange their roles. Mr. Mohit Handa (2015 batch), the incumbent SP of Hisar, and Mr. Deepak Saharan (IPS), the incumbent SP of Karnal, were also asked to swap their designations.
Mr. Vijay Pratap (1998 batch), presently posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Crime in Gurugram, was posted as the SP of Nuh, replacing Mr. Narendra Bijarniya (2015 batch), who was asked to assume office as the SP of Special Task Force and the DCP of Crime in Gurugram.
Officer Gaurav (IPS), the incumbent DCP (East) of Sonipat, assumed the role of SP in Rewari, replacing Mr. Shashank Kumar Sawan (2015), who was transferred and posted as the DCP (Headquarters) of Jhajjar.
