Amidst a recent development, IAS Armstrong Pame, presently posted as Director in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has been appointed as Director in the Department of School Education and Literacy, on a lateral shift basis. Officer Pame’s transfer was mandated by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on the recommendation of the Civil Services Board. Mr. Pame, a 2009-batch Manipur cadre IAS officer, shall hold his new designation for a period up to 17.04.2027 with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
