Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, hosted the 10th edition of its flagship “Working Together Conclave” in Puri, Odisha. Themed “Improving Organisational Performance through Collaboration and Cooperation,” the event brought together top management, officers, and trade union representatives to foster constructive dialogue and collective decision-making.

The conclave was inaugurated by Chairman-cum-Managing Director Uday Anant Kaole, who emphasized the power of collaboration in strengthening organisational performance and employee engagement.

Prominent attendees included Keshav Rao (Director, HR), JK Borah (Director, Technical/Operations), AK Behuria (Director, Finance), and Sanjay Jha (Director, Technical/Project & Planning). The event also saw the active participation of members of Corporate JCC, the Welfare Board, the Safety Committee, and representatives from trade unions and associations including INTUC, HMS, BMS, AITUC, CISTEA, CMOAI, and OBC, reinforcing MCL’s commitment to unity and inclusive growth.

About Uday Anant Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (MCL)

CMD Uday Anant Kaole, a mining engineer and MBA-LLB graduate from Nagpur University, is known for his extensive experience in underground and opencast mining operations. His leadership in managing complex mining challenges, including the Wardha Valley fire, has earned him wide recognition.
