Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the inspirational film “Tanvi the Great” will be made tax-free in the state, citing its powerful message and emotional depth. The announcement was made following a special screening of the film at a cinema hall in DB Mall, Bhopal, attended by the Chief Minister and veteran actor-director Anupam Kher.
Film Lauded for Depicting Autism, Army Aspirations
Addressing film enthusiasts after the screening, CM Dr. Yadav praised the film for its heartfelt portrayal of human emotion, determination, and inclusivity, particularly its focus on autism and the Indian Army.
“This is not just a film — it’s a lesson. It gives a meaningful message about human values and emotional strength. Children with autism are also capable and deserving of opportunities in the army, and the film has depicted this beautifully,” Dr. Yadav said.
He further stated that meaningful and socially relevant films such as “Tanvi the Great” would be encouraged and supported by the Madhya Pradesh government.

Anupam Kher Expresses Gratitude
At the beginning of the screening, actor and filmmaker Anupam Kher, who played a pivotal role in the project, welcomed the audience and extended his heartfelt thanks to CM Dr. Yadav for attending and supporting the film.
“A daughter’s journey to fulfill her father’s dream lies at the heart of this film. The protagonist proves that being different doesn’t mean being weak. She earns her place in the Indian Army purely on merit,” Kher said.
