New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday approved the promotion of 18 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT cadre to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) under Level-12 of the Pay Matrix.
According to the official order, the promotions will take effect from the dates specified against each officer’s name.
Notional Promotion Granted to 2014 Batch Officers
As per the order, the following 2014-batch IAS officers have been granted notional promotion with effect from January 1, 2023, with actual financial benefits admissible with immediate effect:
- Boju Jayant Dua (IAS:2014)
- Kanto Danggen (IAS:2014)

2015 Batch Officers Get Notional Promotion from 2024
Similarly, three IAS officers of the 2015 batch have been accorded notional promotion with effect from January 1, 2024, with immediate financial benefits:
- W Khimhun (IAS:2015)
- Karma Leki (IAS:2015)
- Mige Kamki (IAS:2015)
2017 Batch and Others Promoted with Effect from 2026
The remaining officers, largely from the 2017 batch, will be promoted to the Junior Administrative Grade with effect from January 1, 2026. These officers are –

- Yash Chaudhary
- Manu Haga
