MHA Transfers 2 IPS Officers to Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir

In a recent move, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has transferred two AGMUT Cadre IPS officers to the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. The officers, Rajneesh Garg (2002 batch IPS officer) and Hareesh HP (2003 batch IPS officer), will now be stationed in these regions to take on their respective responsibilities.

The transfer is expected to bring a new phase of leadership and expertise to the law enforcement agencies in both territories, enhancing the security and administrative frameworks in these strategically significant regions. Further details regarding their new assignments and roles are awaited.
