New Delhi: As part of the ongoing consolidation and modernisation of government offices under the Central Vista redevelopment project, several additional ministries and departments have been allotted new office spaces in Kartavya Bhawan-02, located within the Central Vista complex. The latest allocations involve ministries and departments previously functioning from South Block, North Block, Shastri Bhawan and Sankalp Bhawan, marking another significant step in the Centre’s effort to bring key administrative offices under one integrated and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Kartavya Bhawan-02 is among the newly constructed, technologically advanced office complexes designed to provide improved inter-ministerial coordination, enhanced efficiency and modern workplace facilities for government officials.

According to the official allocation plan, ministries have been assigned specific floors and room ranges within the building. Detailed floor-wise allocations are as follows –

Ministry of Defence Gets Two Dedicated Floors

The Ministry of Defence has been allotted significant office space across two floors in Kartavya Bhawan-02

This allocation reflects the ministry’s extensive administrative requirements and the need for consolidated operations in a secure, modern facility.
