Jabalpur: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav described former Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker late Ishwardas Rohani as a dedicated “Karmayogi” committed to public service and democratic values while addressing the Gaurav Shikhar Samman Ceremony 2026 held in Jabalpur. The Chief Minister also honored 12 distinguished personalities from various fields and released a book based on the life values of late Rohani.
Tribute to Late Ishwardas Rohani and His Legacy
CM Dr. Yadav paid heartfelt tribute to late Ishwardas Rohani, calling him a symbol of public service and social welfare.
He said Rohani’s life reflected:

- Service to the poor and underprivileged
- Inspiration drawn from Indian cultural philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”

During the event, CM Dr. Yadav released a book based on the life values and principles of late Ishwardas Rohani, highlighting his contribution to public life and social service.
The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Harwinder Singh Chandra.

In his address, the Chief Minister also spoke about India’s ancient educational traditions, emphasizing the Gurukul system.
