Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state has taken a significant step toward implementing an ambitious 24-hour renewable energy supply project. He said the initiative marks the beginning of a new chapter in India’s clean energy transition.
The Chief Minister was virtually addressing a pre-bid meeting held at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, New Delhi, from Samatva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence). The meeting was organised for the 24×7 renewable energy project.
The session was attended by Madhya Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manu Srivastava, and representatives of various companies.
Madhya Pradesh Moving Rapidly Toward Clean Energy Goals
CM Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly toward providing round-the-clock green energy, in line with the announcement made at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He said the state is strengthening its position as a leader in the renewable energy sector through innovation, competitive pricing, and large-scale clean energy projects.
Strong Track Record in Renewable Energy Projects
The Chief Minister emphasized Madhya Pradesh’s strong performance in renewable energy development, citing several benchmark projects:
- Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project: Established India’s lowest solar tariff, giving global recognition to the state
- Shajapur and Neemuch Solar Parks: Achieved a record tariff of ₹2.14 per unit, among the lowest in the country
- Morena Energy Storage Project: Signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at ₹2.70 per unit, one of India’s most competitive storage-based energy projects
He said these achievements demonstrate Madhya Pradesh’s leadership in clean and affordable energy generation.
State Positioned as Investor-Friendly Destination
CM Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is one of the most investor-friendly states in India, offering:
- Transparent policies
- Fast decision-making systems
- Strong infrastructure support
He invited domestic and global investors to participate in the state’s renewable energy transformation journey.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government’s goal is not just project development but also achieving:
