Bhopal: In a major boost to the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) and startup ecosystem of Madhya Pradesh, the MSME Summit 2025 was held today at Hotel Taj Front, Bhopal, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The event marked a significant step toward promoting self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and industrial growth in the state.
₹200 Crore Grant Disbursed to MSMEs Across 48 Districts
Under the MSME Development Policy, CM Yadav digitally transferred over ₹200 crore in grant funding to more than 700 MSME units spread across 48 districts through a single-click system. This financial assistance aims to strengthen existing enterprises, support innovation, and encourage expansion.
80 Startups Receive Over ₹1 Crore Under Startup Policy 2025
As part of the Startup Policy 2025, 80+ startups were awarded more than ₹1 crore in assistance to fuel innovation, digital solutions, and job creation. Two dedicated sessions on startup growth and export promotion were held during the summit, with industry experts sharing insights and recommendations for sustainable entrepreneurial development.
The Chief Minister also interacted virtually with entrepreneurs from Balaghat and Tikamgarh, acknowledging their contribution to the local economy and discussing future support mechanisms.
Industrial Land Allocation and Inauguration of New Industrial Areas
CM Yadav distributed allocation letters for over 200 industrial plots to various enterprises in the state’s key industrial zones. Additionally, he virtually laid the foundation stones for three new industrial areas worth ₹113.78 crore, aimed at creating a robust industrial infrastructure and generating employment.
Under the Udyam Kranti Yojana, financial assistance was provided to over 100 beneficiaries, with loans and subsidies granted to aspiring youth and entrepreneurs.
MoU with ONDC and Launch of New Government Projects
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), aiming to expand digital market access for local enterprises. Furthermore, CM Yadav inaugurated three new office building projects worth ₹7.57 crore, enhancing administrative efficiency for MSME operations.
Special Session on Swadeshi and Self-Reliance
A dedicated evening session focused on Swadeshi (indigenous development) and Swavalamban (self-reliance). Entrepreneurs, startup founders, policymakers, and youth actively participated in the discussion, which centered around promoting local products, fostering self-employment, and creating strategies for long-term economic independence.
