Ashoknagar: On the occasion of Rang Panchami, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gifted Ashoknagar district with development projects worth Rs. 115.35 crore. The CM inaugurated and laid the foundation for 50 key projects at a ceremony held at Karila Mata Dham, distributing benefits to local beneficiaries.
CM Participates in Exhibition and Honors Women on International Women’s Day
Before the main event, Dr. Yadav visited an exhibition showcasing forest produce, agriculture-based products, and handicrafts by self-help group women. In recognition of outstanding contributions, the CM honored seven women from different sectors of the district on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Development Projects in Education, Health, Roads, and Drinking Water
During the event, several crucial infrastructure projects were inaugurated and foundation stones laid, including:
- School buildings
- Community health centers
- Bridges and road development
- Facilities at Karila Mata Dham complex
These projects aim to strengthen basic amenities and provide direct benefits to local residents.
CM Highlights Government Efforts for Women Empowerment
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yadav emphasized the government’s initiatives for women empowerment, including:
- 33% reservation for women in upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections
- Monthly financial assistance under the Ladli Bahna Yojana
- Reservation for women in government departments to provide opportunities for higher positions
Approval for 10 km Road Construction from Dipanakheda to Karila Dham
Dr. Yadav highlighted ongoing efforts under the Kisan Kalyan Year and government schemes providing farmers with Rs. 12,000 annually under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. He also announced the approval for a 10 km road from Dipanakheda to Karila Dham and instructed the district administration to prepare a comprehensive development plan for Karila Dham.
CM Visits Karila Mata Dham and Participates in Holi Celebrations
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited Karila Mata Dham to seek blessings of Mata Janaki and wished for the prosperity of the state’s residents. He also played flower Holi with devotees. Karila Dham, associated with Maharishi Valmiki, Mata Sita, and Luv-Kush, is a prominent religious site symbolizing maternal power in Indian culture.
