Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has implemented a minor but significant reshuffle in the police department, issuing transfer orders for two IPS officers and two inspectors. The decision comes as part of the state’s ongoing administrative realignment aimed at improving law and order and optimizing personnel deployment.
IPS Transfers: SP Indore Rural and SAF Commander Posts Swapped
As per the official order released by the Home Department, IPS officer Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia, who was serving as Commander of the 15th Battalion of SAF, Indore, has now been posted as Superintendent of Police (Rural), Indore.
In a reciprocal move, IPS officer Hitika Vasal, who was the current SP Rural Indore, has been transferred and posted as Commander, 15th Battalion SAF, Indore.
This cross-transfer within Indore district indicates a focused effort to inject new leadership into both operational policing and armed force command within the region.

Inspector-Level Transfers by Police Headquarters
The Police Headquarters (PHQ) Bhopal also issued orders transferring two police inspectors across districts:
- Inspector Kushal Singh Rawat has been shifted from Ujjain to Barwani district.
- Inspector Santosh Kumar Dudhi, who was posted in Dhar, will now serve in Indore city.
These transfers are expected to reinforce policing efforts in their respective new jurisdictions and address local law enforcement requirements.

Government Instructions: Immediate Joining
The state government has instructed all the transferred officers to report to their new postings without delay. These moves are seen as part of a routine reshuffle, but sources suggest the transfers are also linked to performance reviews and regional requirements.
