Focus on Skill Development and Employment Opportunities

The nursing education initiative forms part of NALCO’s broader CSR efforts to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for young people living in and around its operational areas.

By supporting a structured, three-year residential nursing diploma programme, NALCO Foundation is investing in professional education and skills development. The initiative is particularly relevant to tribal and rural communities in Odisha, where access to educational and vocational opportunities can support long-term socio-economic development.

The programme aims to strengthen the link between education and employment by enabling beneficiaries to pursue training in a professional field.
