Anugola: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), through its NALCO Foundation, has taken a significant step towards improving access to specialised eye care in Anugola, Odisha, with the signing of an addendum to its agreement with the LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad. The development marks a major milestone in the operationalisation of the long-awaited Secondary Plus Eye Care Centre at Anugola, which is expected to become operational within the next few months.
The addendum was signed at NALCO’s Corporate Office in the presence of Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of NALCO, the company’s Directors, Dr. Prashant Garg, Executive Chair of LVPEI, and senior officials from both organisations.
The initiative aims to bring quality eye care services at affordable prices closer to thousands of people in Anugola and neighbouring districts, strengthening healthcare access for communities around NALCO’s S&P Complex.
