NALCO Launches IA91 Aluminium Alloy Ingot for Automotive, Electrical, and Industrial Applications

New Delhi: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has launched its new IA91 Grade Aluminium Alloy Ingot, a high-performance silicon-based casting alloy aimed at automotive, electrical, and industrial applications. The product was unveiled at NALCO’s Kolkata Stockyard by Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, Director (Commercial), in the presence of senior company officials.

The IA91 Aluminium Alloy Ingot is engineered to provide an optimal balance of:

  • Superior castability
  • Enhanced mechanical strength
  • Improved corrosion resistance

This high-performance alloy is particularly designed for advanced casting applications such as:

  • Gravity die casting
  • Low-pressure die casting
