Angul, Odisha, June 24, 2025: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO)’s Captive Power Plant at the Smelter & Power (S&P) Complex in Angul, Odisha, has earned dual national honours for its outstanding performance in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
At the 10th National Conclave on Environment, Energy & Climate Change – 2025, the plant was conferred with-
- Kalinga Energy Excellence National Award – Five Star Category
- Kalinga Environment Excellence National Award – Four Star Category
These prestigious recognitions were awarded by IQEMS Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE).
