In Madhya Pradesh, several IAS officers have not only transformed governance within the state but have also earned national recognition for their innovative initiatives.

- 2001 batch P. Narhari, Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering, conceptualized the Ladli Laxmi Yojana in 2006—now adopted by states like Maharashtra and Delhi.
- 2009 batch IAS officer Preeti Maithil, Commissioner, Horticulture & Food Processing, earned a National Award for improving the sex ratio in Rewa and was honored by ICMR for promoting millets.
- Praveen Adhayach, Private Secretary to Union Minister, was recognized by the President and PM for making Burhanpur the first district with 100% tap water under Jal Jeevan Mission.
- Priyanka Das, now at LBSNAA Mussoorie, led the scientific closure and redevelopment of Bhanpur Khanti and received a national award for the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.
- Karmveer Sharma, Commissioner, Food & Civil Supplies, has received multiple awards for effective governance in Dindori and Rewa.
