Navratna PSU NBCC (India) Limited has secured a significant contract worth Rs 198 crore from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The order involves the design, supply, and installation of rooftop solar systems at SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand.
In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Wednesday, NBCC confirmed the project, which aligns with SAIL’s green energy initiatives. The rooftop solar system will be a key step towards sustainable energy practices at the Bokaro facility.
This order comes a day after NBCC bagged a separate Rs 50 crore contract for the construction of a sports complex in Odisha.
