New Delhi: The newly constructed CM Shri School at Sarojini Nagar was inaugurated today by Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, in the presence of Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Ashish Sood, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Power, Urban Development, Education, Higher Education, Training & Technical Education, GNCTD, and other dignitaries. The event was also attended by K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director of NBCC (India) Limited, along with senior officers.
State-of-the-Art Educational Infrastructure
Constructed by NBCC, the CM Shri School stands as a model of modern public education infrastructure, reflecting the Government’s commitment to world-class learning environments. Key features of the G+3 institutional building include:
- Campus area of 7,230 square metres (approx. 80,000 sq. ft.).
- 60 spacious classrooms and 6 modern laboratories.
- Well-equipped library and comprehensive student facilities.
- Designed to accommodate approximately 1,800 students.
- Barrier-free features and a 13-passenger lift ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

Part of Sarojini Nagar Redevelopment
The CM Shri School is a key component of the Sarojini Nagar redevelopment project by NBCC under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The ambitious redevelopment includes:
- Approximately 7,500 modern residential units.
- Over one million square feet of social infrastructure, including schools, Barat Ghar, Aanganwari, Suvidha Market, and more.
- Planned Public Library, Sports Complex, and School of Excellence in close proximity to further strengthen the community ecosystem.
Upon completion, the infrastructure will be handed over to the Department of Education, Government of Delhi.
