New Delhi: In a landmark collaboration, NBCC (India) Limited has signed an agreement with the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) to undertake construction, renovation, repair, and replacement works across KVS schools nationwide. The agreement, signed on February 2, 2026, aims to modernize school infrastructure, enhance learning environments, and provide safer, better-equipped facilities for students and staff.
Nationwide School Infrastructure Upgrade
Under this partnership, NBCC will provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for all works classified as “Deposit Work,” with project costs determined on a case-by-case basis. The collaboration focuses on improving the overall quality of infrastructure across 1,200+ KVS schools catering to over 1.4 million students nationwide.
The initiative is expected to result in:
- Upgraded classrooms and labs
- Safer school infrastructure
- Modernized amenities for students and staff
- Improved compliance with contemporary educational and safety standards

NBCC will oversee planning, execution, and project management, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and compliance with standards. Deepti Gambhir, Company Secretary of NBCC, said:
