New Delhi: State-owned construction major NBCC India Limited has secured a new work order worth Rs 55.02 crore from Indian Overseas Bank for the construction of its new Regional Office in Raipur. The project is part of NBCC’s ongoing project management consultancy operations.
Scope of the Project
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract involves –
- Planning, designing, and execution of the new regional office building
- Handover of the completed project to Indian Overseas Bank
- Execution entirely within India
The project, valued at approximately Rs 55.02 crore excluding GST, will contribute to the growth of NBCC’s order book in the infrastructure and construction segment.
Regular Business Activity, No Conflict of Interest
NBCC clarified that the project –
- Does not involve related party transactions
- Neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity
- Is part of NBCC’s normal business operations
This transparency aligns with NBCC’s standard regulatory compliance and corporate governance practices.
