NBCC Wins New Work Orders Worth ₹39.5 Crore Across Defence, Power Grid, and Urban Infrastructure

State-owned NBCC secures PMC and renovation projects at Ordnance Factory Chandigarh, Power Grid Jammu office, and Bharat Vandana Park Delhi

New Delhi: State-owned construction major NBCC (India) Limited has secured new work orders worth approximately ₹39.5 crore in the ordinary course of business, according to a regulatory filing made with stock exchanges on Thursday.

The newly awarded projects span defence infrastructure, power sector facilities, and urban public assets, reinforcing NBCC’s role as a key project management and construction agency for government and public sector entities.

Details of Key Work Orders

Defence Infrastructure Project – ₹20.35 Crore

NBCC has been appointed as Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the construction of a building with a Class 100,000 clean room facility at Ordnance Factory, Chandigarh.
The facility will support Testing, Overhaul, and Maintenance (TOP) of INS-SIGMA 30 N, TISM, and other electro-optic devices, strengthening critical defence infrastructure capabilities.

Power Grid Office Renovation – ₹16.99 Crore

The company will undertake planning, designing, and execution of facelifting and civil renovation works for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’s Regional Office located at Grid Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu.

Bharat Vandana Park O&M Support – ₹2.16 Crore

NBCC has also received a PMC assignment for interim Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for Bharat Vandana Park in Sector-20, Dwarka, Delhi, from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Strengthening NBCC’s Project Portfolio

NBCC stated that all three contracts fall within its normal course of business. The fresh work orders highlight the company’s continued involvement in project management consultancy, construction, and facility renovation across diverse sectors, including defence, power, and urban development.
