Three Newly Appointed IAS Officers Take Charge as Assistant Secretaries in Ministry of DoNER

Newly Designated Assistant Secretaries Begin Tenure Across Central Ministries.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, three Trainee IAS Officers of 2022 batch, have been designated as Assistant Secretaries in Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).

The newly appointed Assistant Secretaries are:

IAS Charu (Tripura 2022): A Management Graduate, Charu recently completed her district training as Assistant Collector in West Tripura, Agartala.

IAS Kanika (Assam Meghalaya 2022): With a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Kanika concluded her district training as Assistant Commissioner in Nagaon, Assam.

IAS Uppuluri Chaitanya (Manipur 2022): Holding a B.Tech degree, Uppuluri Chaitanya recently completed his district training.

Starting from May 20, 2024, until July 12, 2024, these Officer Trainees will engage actively in the day-to-day operations of their assigned duties for an eight-week period. This phase is crucial for the Trainee Officers, offering them firsthand exposure to the intricate workings of the highest echelons of the Indian bureaucracy.
