Gandhinagar: Narakas (Office), Faridabad, chaired by NHPC Limited, has been awarded the Best Official Language Shield for its outstanding efforts in implementing the Official Language policy. The award was conferred during the Hindi Diwas 2025 and the Fifth Official Language Conference held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on September 15, 2025.
Recognition for Language Implementation Excellence
The award was presented by Anshuli Arya (IAS, 1989 batch), Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The recognition underscores NHPC’s commitment to strengthening Hindi usage in official communication and promoting linguistic inclusivity across its operations.

NHPC Leaders Receive the Honour
The shield was received on behalf of NHPC by Mr. Naveen Kumar Jain, Executive Director (Human Resources) and Head of Department (Official Language), along with Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, General Manager (Public Relations) – Official Language and Member Secretary, Narakas (Office), Faridabad.
Their leadership has been instrumental in driving official language implementation initiatives and ensuring active participation across NHPC offices.
