DGP Manoj Yadava has finally submitted the report in the matter related to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s Security breach. According to the report, nine police officials have been held responsible for lapses in the security of the Chief Minister and disciplinary action will be initiated against them.
Let it be known that three months back a group of Punjab MLAs allegedly “misbehaved and gheraoed” the CM in the Vidhan Sabha complex. The Secretariat had earlier alleged that “misbehaviour with Haryana CM was part of a pre-planned conspiracy and the Punjab MLAs stayed in Vidhan Sabha complex for three hours to wait for the CM”.
The Secretariat told in a statement that DGP has submitted the report but the Vidhan Speaker Gian Chand Gupta is not fully satisfied with it and has asked for a detailed report from the DGP in this regard.
