New Delhi: NLC India Limited, a Navratna public sector undertaking under the Government of India, has announced a major restructuring of its top management with the promotion of five senior officers to Executive Director positions. The changes, officially disclosed to NSE and BSE in line with SEBI (LODR) Regulation 30, aim to enhance leadership across the company’s mining, thermal, and renewable energy operations.
The promotions, effective 6 December 2025 and subject to vigilance clearance, are part of NLCIL’s broader strategy to strengthen its operational, technical, and renewable energy leadership, ensuring the company is well-positioned to drive growth and innovation across its business verticals.
Profiles of the Newly Promoted Executive Directors
- Mr. Ramachandra R Parashar – Bringing over 35 years of experience in IT and systems management, Mr. Parashar has overseen major SAP transformations at IBM and served as Director (Technical) at UIDAI. He also held the position of GM & CIO at BEML, with expertise in mission-critical applications, data management, and e-governance solutions.
- Mr. Durai Kumar S – With 33 years of project management experience in refineries, mining, and thermal power sectors, Mr. Durai Kumar currently serves as CEO of Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL), a joint venture between NLC India and UPRVUNL. His career includes stints with TCE and L&T.
- Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh – An expert in renewable and thermal power projects, Mr. Singh has 29 years of experience in engineering, power plant construction, and business development. He also heads NLC India Renewables Limited and has previously worked with NTPC, Coal India, and Reliance Power.
- Mr. Anandaramanujam K – A mechanical engineer with 36 years at NLCIL, Mr. Anandaramanujam has led key power plant units including TPS-I Expansion, specializing in boiler-turbine commissioning, ash handling, plant operations, and logistics management.
- Mr. Vanchinathan T – With over 36 years of service at NLCIL, Mr. Vanchinathan has played a crucial role in the commissioning of multiple thermal units and enhanced the performance of BTPS, elevating it to the top lignite-fired plant among central sector units. He holds degrees in science and computer applications.
