The tariff for the 50 MW project, which is extendable to 120 MW, has been finalized at 5.97 US cents per unit after discussions with various stakeholders in Sri Lanka.
This solar initiative aims to diversify Sri Lanka’s energy mix, significantly boosting its clean energy capacity while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
NTPC Limited is India’s largest power generation company, operating under the Ministry of Power, with a diverse portfolio spanning thermal, hydro, solar, and wind energy. It plays a key role in driving the country’s energy transition towards sustainable and renewable sources.
