With NTPC’s Support, Garhwal Patti Khatli Mandal Felicitates Meritorious Students in Delhi

Students from Classes 10 & 12 Recognized; Cultural and Competitive Events Add to the Celebration

New Delhi: The Garhwal Patti Khatli Samajik Vikas Mandal (Regd.) Delhi successfully organized its annual Meritorious Student Felicitation Ceremony at Diva (Durga) Mandir, Kidwai Nagar (East), New Delhi. The event was held to celebrate the academic achievements of students hailing from the Patti Khatli region and currently residing in the Delhi-NCR area, who excelled in Classes 10 and 12 during the 2024–25 academic session.

Celebrating Bright Futures

The program aimed to recognize and encourage young talent within the community. Meritorious students were felicitated for their hard work and academic excellence, reinforcing the community’s commitment to education and youth empowerment.

In addition to the main felicitation ceremony, the event featured interactive competitions to engage younger participants-

  • Drawing Competition for students of Classes 1 to 5
  • Quiz Competition for students of Classes 6 to 12

Children participated with great enthusiasm, making the event both educational and celebratory.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed personalities

  • Mr. Piyush Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power
  • Ms. Tanuja Joshi, Managing Director, Venu Eye Institute

Their presence elevated the event and added value to the cause of academic encouragement.

In his keynote address, Mr. Piyush Singh delivered a motivational message, stating – “There is no substitute for hard work, and knowledge is the greatest wealth.”

His words resonated with students and parents alike, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and lifelong learning.
