New Delhi: NTPC Ltd, India’s leading power generation company, has invited tenders for the Biennial Maintenance Contract (BMC) of Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Systems for Stage-III, IV, V (with FGD), C&I LAB, and Stage-3 & 4 FGDs along with its common facility at NTPC – Vindhyachal. The maintenance contract is aimed at ensuring smooth operation and upkeep of the critical C&I systems at one of the country’s largest power stations.

- Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs 20 lakh
- Bid Validity: 120 days from submission
- Contract Duration: Two years, with the possibility of a three-month extension on the same terms and conditions
- Bid Opening Date: January 12, 2026
- Document Sale Start Date: December 22, 2025
The Engineer-In-Charge (EIC) reserves the right to foreclose the contract before completion of the extended period if deemed necessary. This measure ensures operational flexibility and adherence to NTPC’s performance and maintenance standards.

The contract covers comprehensive maintenance of the C&I systems across multiple stages of NTPC Vindhyachal, including Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) units.
