The Odisha government has given additional charges to three IPS officers in the state. Additional charge of Managing Director of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) to has been given to 1996 batch IPS officer Arun Bothra, who is the Additional Director General of Police (CID-CB).
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange, a 2013-batch IAS officer, was holding the additional charge of the Managing Director of CRUT.
Diptesh Kumar Pattanayak, a 1997-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the CMD of OSRTC. Pattanayak was earlier working as the ADGP-cum-IG of Prisons and Correctional Services. He was also holding the additional charge of CMD of OSRTC.
Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has been given the additional charge of ADGP-cum-IG of Prisons and Correctional Services.
