Oil India (OIL) Conducts Legal Awareness Workshop on Contractual Disputes, Launches Vigilance Campaign

New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL) organised a “Legal Awareness Workshop on Contractual Disputes” on August 22, 2025, bringing together senior officials from various disciplines to engage in meaningful discussions on addressing and resolving contractual challenges.

The interactive session reinforced OIL’s commitment to building strong contractual frameworks that support its operations. Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Ankur Baruah, Director (HR), OIL, emphasized the importance of trust and collaboration in business relationships. 

He stated, “We must focus on building long-term, trust-based relationships with our business partners. The right partner will align with our vision, mission and ambition and help us move forward together.”

Through such initiatives, OIL continues to strengthen partnerships, enhance operational excellence, and drive sustainable growth.

As part of this year’s vigilance observance, Oil India Limited has launched a three-month campaign (August 18 – November 17, 2025) aimed at fostering transparency, accountability, and integrity within the organisation.

The campaign focuses on:

  • Disposal of pending complaints
  • Disposal of pending cases
  • Capacity building programmes
  • Asset management
  • Digital initiatives

Together, OIL encourages everyone to uphold vigilance as a shared responsibility to build a culture of transparency and integrity.
