Breaking down the scores across categories:

CDP Climate Change Score Acknowledges Governance and Risk Management

In addition to the ESG rating, ONGC received a Climate Change score of ‘B’ from CDP. The score reflects the company’s performance in climate-related governance, policies, and risk management, based on ONGC’s responses to CDP’s disclosure framework. This rating underscores the company’s commitment to addressing climate change and integrating sustainability into its operations.

Strengthening Stakeholder Confidence

According to ONGC, the ESG and climate change ratings provide stakeholders with a comprehensive view of the company’s environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance framework. These ratings serve as an important tool for investors, customers, and regulators to assess ONGC’s sustainability performance and transition strategies.
