The deputation tenure of Paresh Saxena as Inspector General (IG) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has been extended for a period of two years. He is an IPS officer of 1994 batch and Bihar cadre. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Saxena for a period of two years, said an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday.
