Shimla: SJVN Limited has appointed Parthajit De as its Whole-time Director (Finance) for a five-year term, effective March 19, 2026. The appointment has been approved by the Ministry of Power.
With this leadership transition, Sipan Kumar Garg will step down from his additional responsibilities as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The Ministry of Power issued the official order on March 18, 2026, appointing Parthajit De to the board of SJVN. His tenure will be for five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders.
The company confirmed that De meets all regulatory requirements and is not debarred by any authority, including SEBI, from holding a directorial position.

Parthajit De is a highly experienced finance professional with nearly three decades of expertise in the power sector. Before joining SJVN, he had a distinguished 27-year career at NHPC Limited.

- Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- CGMA-certified professional from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK)
