Chandigarh: The Punjab Civil Service (PCS) Officers Association on Monday presented cheques worth ₹12 lakh to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann as a contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The donation reflects a unified show of support from PCS officers and allied administrative associations during times of public need.
Delegation Meets CM Bhagwant Mann
A delegation of the PCS Officers Association, led by its President Sakatar Singh Bal, formally handed over the contribution to the Chief Minister. The cheque handover took place in Chandigarh in the presence of Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha.
Breakdown of Contributions
The ₹12 lakh donation was a joint effort from multiple associations–
- ₹7.5 lakh from the Punjab PCS Officers Association
- ₹1 lakh from the All India Federation for State Civil Services Associations (AIF)
- ₹3.5 lakh from the Haryana Civil Service Officers Association
This collaboration highlights the spirit of solidarity among state civil services across northern India.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from the associations expressed their commitment to standing with the government and citizens during times of need.
