New Delhi: In a new development in the selection process for the post of Director (Personnel) at NMDC Limited, Shivendra Bahadur Singh has emerged as a fresh entrant in the race. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has added his name to the list of shortlisted candidates after initially calling 12 applicants for the interview.
PESB Revisits Candidature
According to an office memorandum issued on December 19, the PESB stated that Shivendra Bahadur Singh’s candidature was found suitable for shortlisting after the board re-examined his representation submitted a few days earlier. On reassessment, the board concluded that he deserved consideration for the post as a special case, thereby making him eligible to appear for the interview.

Shivendra Bahadur Singh is currently serving as an Executive Director at NMDC Limited. His inclusion expands the shortlist and adds a new dimension to the ongoing selection process for the key human resources role at the state-owned mining major.
Interview Scheduled for December 23
The interview for the post of Director (Personnel) is scheduled to be held on December 23, 2025, between 3:45 pm and 5:45 pm. The PESB has directed the concerned authorities to make available all requisite documents related to the newly included candidate, including Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs), grading statements, and vigilance clearance details.
Presentation on Vision and Achievements
The board has also advised Shivendra Bahadur Singh to come prepared with a brief presentation highlighting his professional achievements and outlining his vision for NMDC, should he be selected for the role.
