New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has initiated the selection process for three top-level director positions in leading public sector enterprises – Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), IRCON International Ltd, and Munitions India Limited (MIL) – as part of a scheduled leadership transition in these organizations.
Hindustan Shipyard Ltd: Director (Strategic Project)
On Friday, June 6, 2025, PESB released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Director (Strategic Project) at Hindustan Shipyard Limited. The vacancy will arise following the retirement of Cmde Girideep Singh, who is scheduled to superannuate on 31 January 2026. He has been serving in this role since February 2022. Eligible candidates can apply until 3 July 2025.
The role is pivotal, overseeing strategic and defence-related shipbuilding initiatives. The position demands a high level of technical expertise and experience in naval or strategic project domains.
IRCON International Ltd: Director (Projects)
Similarly, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, PESB initiated recruitment for the post of Director (Projects) at IRCON International Ltd, a leading transport infrastructure PSU under the Ministry of Railways. The post is expected to fall vacant as Anand Kumar Singh, the current Director (Projects), will retire on 31 December 2025. He has been holding the position since July 2023.
The last date to apply for this post is 1 July 2025. The candidate is expected to have substantial experience in infrastructure project planning, execution, and management.
Munitions India Ltd: Director (Finance)
Earlier on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, PESB invited applications for the post of Director (Finance) at Munitions India Limited (MIL), a major defence production enterprise under the Ministry of Defence.
According to the official notice, interested candidates must submit their applications by 30 June 2025. The ideal applicant should possess at least five years of cumulative experience at a senior level in the past ten years in corporate financial management or corporate accounts within a reputable organization.
This role is critical to ensuring financial stability and regulatory compliance across MIL’s defence manufacturing and modernization programs.
