The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel recommended Mr. Daljeet Singh Khatri, presently serving as Executive Director in REC Limited, for the position of Director (Finance) of Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO). HUDCO is a PSU functioning under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
Mr. Khatri made the cut from a list of eleven candidates – four candidates from PFC Limited, three candidates from HUDCO and one each from REC Limited, CONCOR, HPCL and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) – who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on May 24.
As the new Director (Finance) of HUDCO, Mr. Khatri shall be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
