Ahmedabad: Advait Energy Transitions Limited, a leading provider of power transmission and substation solutions, has received a work order worth Rs 21.3 crore from Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) for the procurement of an Emergency Restoration System (ERS) suitable for up to 765kV AC / ±800kV DC applications. The order was confirmed on 28 November 2025 and will be executed over an 18-month period.
Scope and Significance of the Order
The order, designated “Package ERS-1”, involves the supply and implementation of advanced ERS equipment designed to restore high-voltage transmission systems quickly in case of emergencies or outages. These systems are critical for maintaining grid reliability and stability, particularly for high-capacity transmission lines across the country.
The project timeline of 18 months reflects the complexity and high technical standards required for ERS systems capable of handling ultra-high voltage levels.
